Reasons Why You Must Visit Milan, Italy!

Like any big city, Milan manages to remain inspiring, beautiful, exciting, romantic, and full of stuff to do! However, this city is also like no other in many respects. As far as sport is concerned because of the two big football teams; Inter and AC Milan, there is a huge rivalry. However, whilst the competitive edge is fearsome there is also friendliness to this too.

Is this relevant? Yes of course, this is the perfect way to show that, Milan has competitiveness throughout; in the shops, restaurants, engineering firms, all the way to sport. Conversely, this is a friendly competition that installs a motive to make the city become continuously greater. Whilst at the same time, the locals remain friendly and helpful for anyone who isn’t familiar with the city.

Furthermore, Milan is the pinnacle of how everyone should act and through the constant rate of bettering itself. It has become one of the most spectacular places to visit in the world without a doubt. If you thought Italy was great before, you’ll now realise why it is magnificent! This article should help to explain why just a few aspects of Milan make it such a special place!

Inspiration & the views…

Probably one of the most famous views in Milan comes in perhaps a different way than you might have expected; Leonardo da Vinci’s The Last Supper is known throughout the world. As you can imagine, the original piece is quite a spectacle. Whilst seeing it for yourself can become quite a struggle with tickets being sold at an extreme rate; if you can get hold of one you won’t be disappointed! Of course views don’t come just in the form of artwork…

Some people would consider the view from the Duomo roof to be art in a completely different nature. This gothic feeling cathedral has had 500 years of making in order for it to look so fantastic. The interior contains some beautiful treasure and if you’re willing enough you can climb an astonishing 150 steps to reach the roof. If you’re just after a relaxing time there’s always the lift too. When you reach the top you’ll have 3.600 statues and 135 spires to feast your eyes upon. Many visitors believe both this and The Last Supper make for a great source of inspiration!

Shopping in style & San Siro traditions…

The Galleria Vittorio Emanuele (pictured below) is something of a spectacle in itself; with its glass-iron dome, mosaics and marble floor ways the entire area is made to look beautiful before you even glance at any clothing. What is more is that the shopping centre will be full of the shops you are most familiar with such as Gucci, Louis Vuitton, and Armani. This shopping centre is the oldest in the world; built in 1867 and this goes hand in hand with the first-ever Prada store
 being here since 1913.

The San Siro Stadium is known throughout the entire world and deservedly so. The atmosphere created when FC Internazionale, AC Milan, or Italy play here is always overwhelming and if you choose to watch a match here it will definitely be an unforgettable experience. The stadium was first built in 1925, but was expanded for the World Cup in 1990. All in all, this stadium reflects upon everything that is Milan and shows is a great example of how wonderful the city really is.

Reasons to Go Abroad At Christmas!

Going abroad at Christmas time can seem quite strange to some people; especially if you’re the kind of person who likes the more traditional Christmas; with the family, around a fire, with snow falling at a constant rate outside. While this type of Christmas is always wonderful, the point is, it ‘always’ is, so why not do something that isn’t ‘always’ something a little more unique.

For instance, imagine having Christmas in sunny Australia? This might sound strange at first, but this is only because you won’t have experienced it before. We are in full confidence that, once you have experienced something and tried it out, it immediately feels more comfortable.

If you do experience Christmas in the sun, then we fully expect you to want to relive this experience all over again. You might know someone that travels almost every year without fail around Christmas time; surely this shows that there is a certain degree of attraction which goes along with it?

Price of hotels & availability of facilities…

As you might suspect, the price of hotels throughout winter are considerably less, this isn’t because the weather is awful or because less effort is put in; but simply because less people go abroad at this time. With the price of hotels diminishing, you might be able to afford going to somewhere slightly more prestigious. On top of this, winter doesn’t have to mean snow and freezing temperatures. In fact, in places like Lanzarote it is hot all year round, so why not escape the cold for a week or two?

Have you ever been abroad in august? Where you were planning on attending everything and then only managed to do half as much as you’d have liked? Things like this are easily avoided; purely through visiting at Christmas time! With the weather still as pleasant as summer and less crowds it sounds almost too good to be true!

Relaxation for the family & shopping…

The constant flow of looking after and generally just being in a family can occasionally become stressful. Whilst having your own family is a wonderful thing too, there isn’t enough times where you can really sit back and appreciate this. A vacation is the perfect opportunity to this. The combination of going on a vacation and it being Christmas helps the family to become more relaxed and refreshed by the time normality hits.

Shopping, for many people, is a huge must at Christmas. Rightly so too, after all, if prices drop considerably, why wouldn’t you take advantage of it? So imagine this, but instead of in your local shopping centre with the leftover stock and sizes that don’t fit you…you could be shopping in New York or literally anywhere you like. What’s more, you will definitely not be short of choice in terms of things to buy!

Reasons to Visit St. Lucia

Want a holiday where you can just sit back and relax for a week or two? Want to go somewhere with fantastic volcanic landscapes and rain forests? Maybe somewhere where you can join in with the locals at a street party after taking a helicopter tour showing masses of incredible green plantation?

Does this sound ideal to you?

All of this differing aspects seem as though they would belong to multiple different holiday destinations, however all this and more can be made possible if you visit St. Lucia! If you’re looking for somewhere where you can do something different every day, where you can go from having an adventure one day, to relaxing on beach the next, then this is the place for you!

What makes St. Lucia even better is the fact that it is really versatile - it is ideal for all everyone. There is plenty to do for the kids, whilst it is just as perfect for a romantic honeymoon.

Now, lets delve into what aspects make st lucia as great as it is;

Rain forests & Volcanoes…

Thanks to the rain forests, St. Lucia has adopted a fabulously green, healthy look. Even right up to the mountains the view from the plants is so special, especially with the volcanoes intertwined throughout. The landscapes in St. Lucia are quite spectacular.

On top of this, you can go on a tram ride through the rainforest. This is a very different activity in comparison to zip-wiring, but offers just as much excitement - if not more! If you want to experience all the sights and sounds the rainforest has to offer in one big heap, then there is no better way to do so than to take a tram trip!

Something which makes the volcano’s on this island very exciting is the fact that you are able to have a tour around it. In fact, you’re able to drive right through it. As you can imagine, this makes for an extremely exciting tour and the difference between the make-ups of a volcano to ordinary land is so extraordinary; it looks almost as though it should belong to another planet.

Zip-wiring & Snorkelling…

Perhaps these are strange things to put together as they are almost completely opposite to one another. However, what does make them similar is that you cannot do either without man-made equipment assisting you. Therefore, both become incredible experiences immediately! Snorkelling is so perfect here as it seems as though it was made for St. Lucia. The tropical fish and vibrant coral reefs really do make for a fantastic sight whilst you’re down there.

On the other hand, in the opposite direction; being right up in the air whilst zip-wiring, as you might have suspected, makes for some excellent advantage points in terms of the view and how much of a view you are given. From these heights you are given some insight into how the jungle works and how quickly the different animals do things throughout all hours of the day.

10 Reasons to Visit Cuba!

Warm weather, sun soaked beaches, beautiful architecture, rolled cigars all accompanied with some famous cocktails, how perfect does this sound? Well in that case, it can easily be a reality; by booking a trip to Cuba! Of course there is much more to Cuba than this though; the people are great, the accommodation is always fantastic and there are multiple activities to do!

However, wherever you go in the world there are always a few things that single out the place as completely different to anywhere else. The same applies for Cuba, there is an exception though; Cuba does share qualities that everyone will like; rather than what just a select few people will like!

This article will help to explain just why this place MUST be visited. It would be easy to tell you you’d be missing out, it’s a one in a lifetime experience, etc. etc. instead, we think it is much more important to point out a few aspects that make this place so wonderful and what some of the most interesting things are to see and do here!

Cuba’s Beaches…

Hardly an original topic this is true. Yes like any beach there is sand and sea; but, what makes Cuba’s beaches that extra bit special, is the fact that the beaches are among some of the most beautiful throughout the whole world in both aesthetics and performance!

Performance may seem a strange word to explain a beach, but how a beach performs is important. This applies to whether it is suitable for children, whether the sand is smooth, how warm the sea is, what’s in the sea and so on. All in all, all of Cuba’s beaches manage to uphold an ideal place to visit!

Food & Cuban Coffee…

Cuba is famous for the way coffee is produced and most importantly; how it tastes. Renowned for its own individual flavour and how the taste manages to be long-lasting way after you’ve had a cup. There are plantations up on the hills of Sierra del Rosario and these are definitely worth a visit! In fact, it makes for a great day out, as there is a visiting centre and the history behind the coffee is extremely interesting too.

Food all over the world changes dramatically in taste and the way it makes you feel. No matter what dish you have, even if you have the same dish in two different places; odds are it will taste somewhat different. With that said Cuban food captures a very friendly and welcoming feeling; which perhaps replicates the locals. Spanish, African and Caribbean traditions are intertwined throughout Cuban food and this makes for something quite extraordinary, but undoubtedly very tasty too.

The Cuban islands…

Being in the middle of the Caribbean; makes Cuba the perfect holiday island, with the beautiful weather all year round, perfect for swimming whether in your hotels pool or in the sea, relaxation is achieved easily, and theres so much more too! Basically, if you want somewhere to relax for a week or longer, but want something a bit different to the more conventional family holiday; then Cuba is the place for you!

Reasons To Visit Paris!

Like any big city, Paris has some wonderful landmarks and sights to see. But, why would you go to Paris if it was like any other big city? You wouldn’t. The capital of France really doesn’t stick to what other big cities do or how they work; Paris is possibly the most individual capital city when it comes to style and aesthetics. Each part of this place oozes out originality and if you’re looking for new inspiration or something to quite simply push you forwards in what you do; then this is the perfect place to seek just that.

Each aspect of this city is different to the last and there are no two places that look even remotely similar; it becomes obvious almost immediately just how much time and effort has gone into every individual detail of this beautiful city! Paris is known well for its art; and it doesn’t take a genius to see why. The city itself is something of a masterpiece and through being surrounded by design encourages the stylist in us all to come out.

Paris isn’t just about how it looks though, the people are great, the culture is different yes, but extremely intriguing and fun too! The overall ambiance of this place is wonderful and we guarantee you’ll enjoy every second you’re lucky enough to spend here! Paris is of course known for its romantic qualities; so if you’re planning to come here as a couple then that will be perfect for sure!

Sightseeing…

Why not take a ride down the River Seine? This is probably the best way to see all of the sights of the city in one go. You won’t see them in depth or up close of course, so perhaps this is ideal for a first thing to do, as you’ll be able to see everything, this means you can pick and choose what to see when; ensuring you’re able to plan the holiday perfectly!

Hills…

Hills are found everywhere in the world yes, but how many have an amazing view at the top? Oh, and there’s also the basilica up there too; so it’s pretty fair to say this isn’t just any old hill with a few cows at the top. If you’re one for walking, then this is perfect for you, and you’re rewarded appropriately at the end with Montmartre building at the top; again the French showing how it’s done when it comes to style!

The Eiffel Tower…

Something that can’t be missed when speaking about Paris is this enormous tower. Unlike most towers in big cities or in fact unlike any building throughout all the cities in the world; this only makes the surroundings look better. Some huge landmarks can make a place look untidy or even ugly; but not this.

This is not only something to look at; it’s always a great thing to look from. What is meant by this is that if you are to go up it then you won’t be disappointed by the view you’re presented with. Of course this has become a photographer’s paradise and a very popular tourist attraction, so just from this it is obvious The Eiffel Tower is definitely something you HAVE to visit during your stay in Paris!
