Top Reasons to Visit Lanzarote…

When choosing a holiday destination it is extremely difficult to choose somewhere that is fun for everyone. “There will never be a location where everyone is happy” is usually the motive, which often ends with the family choosing somewhere rather mediocre in all aspects rather than somewhere spectacular in one aspect.

Well what if we could tell you there is somewhere that is spectacular in every aspect? You’d most likely disagree or not believe us I suspect. Well fortunately, we’re able to tell you there is somewhere, Lanzarote!

In Lanzarote, we are confident if you visit there will be nothing about there that disappoints. In fact, we’re certain that throughout your stay you’ll experience more and more things that only impress you.

Family friendly…

The accommodation is always fantastic in Lanzarote, and because of this, it generally makes for a holiday ideal for all those involved. The hotels almost always offer a kids club so there will never be a moment of boredom for them. On top of this; there are a multitude of activities for children to do.

The night life is always buzzing and full of charisma, so if you're someone who likes to see the night out by staying up late, then you won’t be disappointed during your stay in Lanzarote. The beaches have glorious white sand stretching for miles with clear blue, gentle seas to compliment this.

Overall, there is something for every family member; whether you have an 18 year old party animal, two young children, or even for you; the parent. Often family holidays end up with it being more about the children and can even become very stressful for the parents; this rarely happens in Lanzarote, as there are far too many things for both to do.

Activities, day trips & sports…

Should you choose to stay on this beautiful island, you’re never far away from the one next door to it. There are ferry links working during almost the whole day, every day, to and from islands nearby. Therefore, if you like to explore and experience things then you can do just this by simply hopping on a ferry and going to another island such as Fuerteventura.

However, we understand this isn’t for everybody; some people wish to have nothing but a relaxing time whilst on holiday and understandably too. Therefore, as stated above; the beaches are an ideal place to do just this. Or, if you’d prefer, why not soak up the sun by the side of the pool? Nearly every hotel will have a luxurious swimming pool with it, so make the most of it!

What is more is there are endless activities to do. Why not rent a jet ski for a few hours, or play in a beach football tournament?  It really would be impossible to go through each and every one of the activities available to you. However, if you love sport then you’ll love taking part in it even more once you’ve arrived sunny Lanzarote.

Events, Activities, Culture & Architecture

All these things require just one thing; an open mind. The cultures in Barcelona might seem very different to the ones in the UK. Isn’t that precisely why we travel though? To see and experience completely new things? Well this is something you will undoubtedly come into contact with in Barcelona.

The culture shapes the personalities of those who live there. The events and activities show how you can be a part of it. During your stay, it is guaranteed there will be multiple activities and events that you MUST take part of; otherwise, you will miss out greatly.

Sport
This city is famous for its sports, particularly football. It is no secret that FC Barcelona has seen a great amount of success over the years. This has brought great development to the city’s grounds and the surrounding areas.

If you’re interested in football, or sports at all for that matter, then the Nou Camp is a must see whilst you’re in the city. The best way, is to get tickets to a match and watch the team, mix with the locals, and experience the atmosphere.

However, if you’re unable to do this, there are tours around the ground on a regular basis. This is definitely the second best way to see the ground without the atmosphere. What you get from this that you don’t with watching a match is you’ll have more time to take it all in. As well as the football, there is the Olympic stadium too, which deserves just as much of a mention as the Nou Camp.

One of your holiday destinations could be Cayo Coco, Cuba. Its an island based in central Cuba, which is known for its all inclusive resorts. It lies within the Ciego de Avilla province which a part of a chain of islands called Jardines del Rey "the king's gardens".

The island was used as a hideout by buccaneers in the early colonial periods, the island was home to a small settlement of fisherman and charcoal producers until the year 1955, that's when freshwater supply was exhausted and also the charcoal market ended with the spread of electricity.

In 1988 a link was created on the cuban mainland, which began the era of resort building. In 1993 Cayo Coco saw the first resort built which back then, was named Guitart Cayo Coco, nowadays the resort is known by the name of Hotel Colonial Cayo Coco. Cayo Coco is linked by a short causeway to Cayo Guillermo to the west and by another short causeway to Cayo Romano to the east.

The island has its own international airport, the Jardines del Rey Airport. Since 2005 tourists can fly directly into the airport on Cayo Coco rather than to an airport on the mainland. An earlier airport, the Cayo Coco Airport has been reclaimed as a small natural park called Parque Natural El Baga.

Some activities you can carry out during your time on holiday you go snorkeling, horseback riding, or relax by the sea at one of the beaches, or take a city tour.
